Windrock Land Company is a publicly traded company that has been in business since 1872. The company owns over 73,000 acres in east Tennessee. Windrock Land Company also owns a full-service consulting forestry business named Southeastern Forest Management.
Company History
Windrock Land Company was founded in 1872 and has grown its land base in east Tennessee to over 73,000 acres. For many decades, the company focused it's operations around coal. Over time as coal operations have declined, we have focused more on managing our timber and other operations. Our forest is not FSC certified and sustainably harvests roughly 4.5 million BF per year.
Windrock Land Company expanded an has it's own forestry consulting business that offer traditional forestry services to private clients in Tennessee and Kentucky.
Windrock Land Company also operates Windrock Park, the country's largest privately owned off-highway vehicle park.
