Santee Cooper is South Carolina's largest producer of electricity, supplying power to 40 percent of the state. As the state-owned electric and water utility and the third largest public utility of its type in the United States, we are dedicated to our mission of providing electricity to the people of South Carolina who depend on us. We are prepared to meet tomorrow’s demand and we’re committed to developing innovative, efficient, and reliable ways to generate it.
