Our mission is to conserve, enhance and protect Oklahoma's forest resources for present and future generations.

Oklahoma Forestry Services consists of a relatively small team of professional foresters, firefighters/rangers and support staff. The organization’s size provides foresters with a variety of work experiences, the opportunity to assist with other operations, and a diversity of special projects.

Company History

Created in April 1925, our agency has adapted over the years to Oklahoma's changing demands expected from high quality forested lands.

Benefits

OFS offers a competitive compensation package for new hires. Included with salary are options for health and dental insurance for the employee and their family largely paid by a generous benefit allowance. Retirement benefits are diverse and give employees control of their financial future. The entire compensation package for newly hired Forester III can range from $65,000 to $75,000 per year depending on options chosen. New employees are provided ten paid holidays; three weeks each of paid annual and sick leave; comp and flex time; and longevity pay. Sick leave accumulates and annual leave increases with years of service.
