Clarion Industries is a high quality fiberboard and laminate flooring manufacturer. We proudly manufacture 100% "MADE IN THE USA" products which are made from locally sourced materials. We have a multi-plant site and corporate headquarters located near Clarion, PA.

Benefit Eligibility
• Full-time Regular Employees are eligible for all benefits.
• All benefits begin the first day of hire, subject to the terms and conditions of the individual benefit plans.
Medical ~ Highmark BCBS ~
• Comprehensive coverage of health care services through a network of preferred physicians and providers. Out of network coverage also available.
• Deductibles and co pays apply.
• The Company subsidizes 80% of the deductibles through a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA).
• Vision benefits are also included for those participating in the medical plan.
Dental ~ MetLife
• Comprehensive coverage of dental care services.
• Deductibles and coinsurance apply.
Term Life and AD&D Insurance ~ Sun Life
Basic Term Life and Basic AD&D - Company pays 100% of cost.
• Term Life
Employee All Employees – 2x Annual Salary. Company pays full premium.
• AD&D
Employee All Employees – 2x Annual Salary. Company pays full premium.
Optional and Dependent coverage - Employee pays 100% of costs via payroll deduction.
• Enrollment in the Optional employee plan is required to obtain any Dependent coverage.
• Enrollment in the Life plan automatically enrolls in the AD&D plan at the same level.
• Employee Life / AD&D
All Employees - $10,000 increments up to 5x base salary, not to exceed $600,000. Initial enrollment of up to $150,000 without “Evidence of Insurability”, if under age 60. AD&D coverage is in the same amount as Life Insurance. Employee pays full premium; Life Insurance / AD&D cost is based upon age.
• Dependent Life / AD&D
Spouse All Employees - $5,000 increments up to 50% of employee coverage amount, not to exceed $200,000. Initial enrollment of up to $30,000 without Evidence of Insurability if under age 60. Benefits will be paid to the employee. Employee pays full premium: life insurance/AD&D is based on age.
• Dependent Life
All Employees - $10,000. Benefits will be paid to the employee. Employee pays full premium: one premium covers one or all children.
Business AD&D ~ Hartford Life & Accident Insurance Co.
• Business Travel Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance (maximums apply). Company pays 100% of cost.
EAP
• Employee Assistance Program offers employees and their immediate family members professional and confidential counseling for personal matters. Company pays 100% of cost.
401(k) ~ Wells Fargo
• Eligible immediately on date of hire; no age or service requirement.
? Employees may contribute up to 50% of annual compensation (up to the Internal Revenue Service annual maximum $18,000 in 2015).
• Allows additional “catch-up” contributions for participants 50 years or older (up to the Internal Revenue Service annual maximum $6,000 in 2015 for a total of $24,000).
• Offers participant a choice of funds in which to invest. Once enrolled, changes to investment choices can be made on-line or via telephone according to plan guidelines.
• Immediate, non-forfeitable right to Employer discretionary matched contributions.
• Company currently matches dollar for dollar to 3%, then fifty cents on the dollar for the 4th and 5th %’s. (This is subject to change)
Flores Flexible Spending Accounts ~
Medical Spending Account
• Minimum annual contribution of $100; maximum annual contribution of $2550.
Dependent Care Spending Account
• Minimum annual contribution of $100; maximum annual contribution of $5,000.
Vacation
• Employees are eligible for 1 week of vacation, after 90 days, at a pro-rated amount in year one based upon hire date and the end of that calendar year. Employees continue at the 1 week of vacation level until it increases to 2 weeks after 2 years and 3 weeks after 5 years of employment.
• Carryover is permitted up to a maximum of 40 hours (8 hour employees) or 48 hours (12 hour employees)at the end of each calendar year, as vacation balances reset in January.
Holidays
• Clarion Industries observes nine (9) holidays per year. The Company designates some of the holidays and some are "floating". The schedule may differ due to customer and business needs.
Short-Term Disability Insurance All Employees
• Provides partial income replacement of salary, for 26 weeks, less applicable taxes, if employee is unable to work because of a serious illness or disability.
• Provided by the Company at no cost to full time and part time regular employees working 30 hours or more per week.
Long-Term Disability Insurance All Employees
• Provides partial income replacement of salary, less applicable taxes, (maximums apply).
• Provided by the Company at no cost to full time and part time regular employees working 30 hours or more per week.
Licenses, Certifications and Professional Memberships
• Reimbursement at 100%
• For job-related licenses, certifications and professional memberships approved in advance by the Company.
• The Company reserves the right to exercise discretion of approval based on business needs.
Workplace PPE
• 50% reimbursement for ANSI-approved safety glasses and frames every two years or as medically necessary unless you are enrolled in our vision (medical) program which the company pays completely for.
• Reimbursement for ANSI-approved steel-toe shoes up to $75 maximum annually.
• Work tools provided by the Company are the property of the Company.
